What is CrossFit?CrossFit offers the world's most useful definition of fitness: increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains. Capacity is the ability to do real work, which is measurable using the basic terms of physics (force, distance and time). CrossFit is increasing your ability to do everyday things well, increasing your capabilities to keep doing them into later life. CrossFit is doing the common, uncommonly well.

Is CrossFit Safe?Yes. CrossFit is a safe sport with a purpose of improving your health and wellness. There are many misconceptions around CrossFit due to bad coaching, poor programming and lack of understanding. We ensure you are safe at all times by scaling and modifying when needed to your capabilities.

What is Fitness?CrossFit recognizes 10 general physical skills. They are cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. Fitness is the ability to run or do cardiovascular training as well as lift heavy weights. Having one without the other is not fitness.

Do I need to be fit to start CrossFit?No. CrossFit is what will make you fit. You are about to go through a dramatic change in fitness, strength, and body composition if you listen to your coach and be consistent.

Can I do CrossFit everyday?Our programming is carefully created for 7 days a week. We work off RPE so every day varies in intensity to ensure you get a good workout every day but is mindful of not over working the body. You will notice some days are more 'active recovery' whilst others are heavy and intense. The best thing you can do when starting is to get into a sustainable routine to become consistent pretty quickly.

I am brand new, do you offer an on ramp?Yes we do! If you would like some private sessions to go through the basics and get you confident to join a group class we offer a few options of on ramp that suits your needs. Ask for this service when you inquire. Click HERE to set up your No Sweat Intro.

Do you offer a trial?We offer a single trial class or 1-week trial which is then deducted from your first month's membership when you join the community. SINGLE TRIAL 1-WEEK TRIAL

Can over 40s do CrossFit?Absolutely! CrossFit is for everybody at any age that wants to better their health and fitness. In fact CrossFit helps with slowing down the aging process and can have reverse aging effects.

What do I do if I am suffering injury or coming back from surgery?We are here to make you stronger. We are ATG certified for injury prevention and rehabilitation. We can help you avoid and or recover from surgery to build you back to full health. If you have an injury or are in recovery the best thing you can do is to get to the gym and allow us to modify / create something specific for you.

Do you have an onsite Physical Therapist / Chiropractor?We sure do! Dr. Chase Davidson of Action Potential is located within our facility. Dr. Chase is a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1) and Board Eligible Chiropractic Neurologist. What stuff do I need, to do CrossFit?When starting out you do not need to buy anything fancy. Wear something that you can move in; jogging bottoms, shorts, leggings and trainers. Once you progress you might want to buy some things that help you with various aspects of the sport like gymnastic grips, a jump rope, or lifting belt. But we have these at the gym for you to use in the beginning. Invest your time before investing your money. Can I bring my dog to the gym?YES! We are a dog-friendly gym and have lots of pups that make regular visits. However we do have some rules to keep everyone safe and the gym clean. - Please tie your dog up outside or by the roller doors - Dogs are not permitted to run freely around the gym floor - Please clean up any mess - Please pick up any poop from outside - Please do not bring your dog if you know they are not good around people or other dogs/ do not cope well with load noises and music

For you to hit your goals whether is is to reduce fat, gain muscle, get faster or just feel better, it is essential to look at what you are putting into your body.
